Moving Fitness is an innovative and dynamic outdoor fitness programme concept, very much a move away from the traditional gym and indoor fitness class activities.

Each session simply moves the class through varying cardio-vascular intensity levels of walking to jogging, to then maybe jogging faster, and is interspersed with muscular strength/ endurance and flexibility work. It uses no equipment, only the terrain and body-weight exercises are involved, and it offers functional fitness plus – it’s an all-over experience!

 
 

It’s a rolling session, the class moves – maybe along the sands and beach, or through the park, or onto the Downs – anywhere in fact, which is why the programme is called Moving Fitness. Every session is different, lasts for up to one and a half hours, and offers an individually variable intensity work-out to suit the more active older person and those that simply want to get more active. Within the group you can comfortably work to your own chosen capacity.

It explores real everyday conditions in the fresh air, and so you might at times get a little damp, windblown or sandy – but that’s what being outdoors is all about of course. But it’s exhilarating, interesting, great fun and as challenging as you would like to make it!

 
 

Everybody is given the very close informative attention, support, and encouragement needed to push themselves just a little bit further during the sessions. It's group personal training.

But not only that. Our aim also is to give you a good foundation to continue fitness activity away from the sessions, week by week. And to further help that along we are also available by telephone or e-mail anytime to help you with any fitness aims you may have, from training to nutrition and weight management to marathon survival advice! It's total ongoing support. It’s not just an activity option, it’s a lifestyle project, something to keep working to.
